Vivo to Launch X100 Ultra Flagship with BlueImage Imaging Technology
Vivo is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the X100 Ultra, in China this May. The company will also introduce its own imaging technology brand, BlueImage, with the release of the new device.
One of the key highlights of the X100 Ultra is its main sensor, which features Zeiss’s logo, indicating a collaboration with the renowned German manufacturer. The smartphone will boast a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an impressive 4.3x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom. Other camera features include a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.
In addition to its advanced imaging capabilities, the X100 Ultra will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, ensuring seamless performance for users.
Alongside the X100 Ultra, Vivo will also launch two other smartphones in the X100 series, the X100s and X100s Pro, in May in China. Interestingly, these devices will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chipset, a departure from the Qualcomm processors used in the flagship X100 Ultra.
